Integration Architect

The Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC) invites applications for the full-time position of Integration Architect (Enterprise Systems Architect), position #122690. FLVC is looking for a talented, creative Integration Architect who is interested in working in a team environment to create innovative solutions. The Architect participates in the business and technical relationship with the client and is tasked with creating innovative solutions to meet our clients' complex needs. The Architect must understand the business problem, be an effective communicator, be able to create solutions that hurdle many obstacles, and utilize current technology and work within the service provider landscapes. The Architect must have depth of knowledge of multiple technological areas, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks. The Architect is responsible for defining and documenting architecture and capturing and documenting non-functional requirements.

The Florida Virtual Campus is a statewide provider of innovative educational services for Florida's K-20 community. Working collaboratively with the state's public universities and colleges, K-12 school districts, and other partners, FLVC delivers services to help empower all of Florida's residents to earn a college degree and find a bright career.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field preferred.

  • Three or more years' experience with system integration strategies, methods and architectures.

  • Experience developing REST and SOAP web services preferred.

  • Experience with Java and Python preferred.

  • Experience with modern web security protocols such as SAML2 and OAuth2 preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Azure and AWS preferred

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually
