POSITION SUMMARY:  The University of New Mexico Los Alamos is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Dean. This position will need to have project management skills, can see a project from inception through completion and track its process. Scheduling skills -- working with the Dean's schedule, CC/DH schedules and actual Banner Scheduling. This position will also need to have database skills, again to track data coming into the Dean's office, such as outcomes assessment from all faculty or program planning to do things like set up a Higher Ed Summit or SWOT meetings. Some marketing skills to liaison with our marketing department and also do some marketing work on her/his own. This office will be serving all of the Office of Instruction. Customer service skills and ability to multitask, technology savvy is preferred.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or GED with 5 to 7 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
Bachelor's Degree
Project management/Organizational Experience/Skills
Excellent skills with Microsoft office programs
Evidence of strong writing skills
Experience with databases, including pulling reports or doing mail merge
Experience in:
An Education work setting
Banner System or similar system
