The Department is seeking a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the assistant or associate (not tenured) professor level, in Urban Design and Public Policy. Experience should bridge across research and professional practice at the intersection between urban design, implementation and public policy. Applicants should have the background necessary to teach graduate level studios as well seminars and lectures. We are especially interested in candidates that can teach a course in urban design policy and implementation, a research methods course related to urban design, and an advanced course pertinent to their own research focus within the area of city design. Candidates should be able to link her/his research agenda in City Design and Development to one or more of the department's other research clusters-- Housing, Community, and Economic Development; Environmental Policy and Planning; International Development, Transportation Planning, Urban Information Systems and Regional Planning.

A Ph.D. or a professional degree with a track record and evidence of high quality professional and/or scholarly work
