Faculty Position, Music Copyright and Publishing

Full Sail University is now accepting applications for Course Director, Music Copyright and Publishing, in its Music Business Bachelor of Science degree program. This full-time position will be available in August 2008.

Full Sail is a media arts college located in Orlando, Florida that trains students for careers in the entertainment media industry. Degree programs include Entertainment Business, Film, Game Development, Computer Animation, Digital Arts and Design, Recording Arts, and Show Production and Touring.

The Course Director will develop curriculum and teach the Music Copyright and Publishing course. The Course Director will report to the Program Director of the Music Business Bachelor of Science degree program. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Course Director will meet with and mentor students, attend faculty development workshops, and participate in campus activities including meetings and special events.

Job requirements include a Master’s Degree in a related area and exemplary communication skills. A Juris Doctorate degree is preferred. Also sought, but not required, is teaching experience and experience in an entertainment and/or media field.
