PART-TIME TEMPORARY FACULTY FOR COUNSELOR EDUCATION & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES

Central Michigan University seeks qualified part-time temporary faculty to teach the following Counselor Education & Personal Development courses.  

Course:
CED 502        Student Development in Higher Education
Requirements:  
A Masters in Counseling or closely related field, 5 years field and teaching experience.
 Location:  
        Canada
        
Courses:
CED 645         School Counseling Seminar
Requirements:  
Ed.D or Ph.D. in Counseling or closely related field, active membership in a counseling professional organization (including conference attendance) or a record of relevant research.
Locations:  
        Metro Detroit and other Michigan Locations

Course:
CED 655 Human Relations Skills
Requirement:  A Doctorate in Counseling or related field.
 Locations:          
Metro Detroit, MI and other Michigan Locations, Atlanta, GA, Richmond, VA and other Virginia Locations and Canada

Local candidates are preferred. The University does not sponsor candidates or reimburse relocation expenses for part-time contracted opportunities.

The successful candidate will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends or one night a week for eight weeks.   A generous stipend is paid plus reasonable travel expenses incurred with the teaching of the course.
