POSITION SUMMARY:  The Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics, YES Clinic currently serves over 250 childhood cancer survivors with comprehensive long term follow-up. The Program Coordinator will maintain a database and participate in the follow-up including scheduling of many, many tests and scans for these patients. This growing clinic needs a Program Coordinator to maintain and coordinate scheduling patients and coordinating the clinic outreach programs, funding opportunities, and database.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Knowledge of Medical Billing Procedures
Experience with:
Interacting with pediatric patients and caregivers
Clinical operations and medical terminology
Patient referrals and authorizations and scheduling
Creating and maintaining databases
 
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the USUNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.

If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
