Position Overview:
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the part-time position of Institutional Effectiveness Technician. This position will be scheduled 1300 hours per year and will report to the Development and Retention Manager. The Institutional Effectiveness Technician provides direct support for the day-to-day functions for the Institutional Effectiveness Team.

Qualifications:
Two years related post-secondary education/training or five years related experience, OR a combination of related education and work experience totaling five years.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills in working with a variety of constituencies including students, faculty and staff.

Physical Demands:
Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing required only occasionally.

Job Description:
  • Maintain and monitor Institutional Effectiveness records and reporting through specialized applications: business intelligence software, student information system, client relationship manager, document repository, and learning management systems
  • Edit and proofread Institutional Effectiveness documents to include: grants and research publications
  • Communicate Institutional Effectiveness information to internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with investigating and gathering information relevant to Institutional Effectiveness projects.
  • Develop and update Institutional Effectiveness process and procedure documentation
  • Design, develop and update forms and publications for the division.
  • Coordinate events and meetings for the Institutional Effectiveness division.
  • Provide detailed technical and functional information/support regarding Institutional Effectiveness functions and refer when appropriate.
