Technology Support Analyst

Primary Purpose of Position:
This position serves as IT Analyst/Programmer I for the computer support division of CCES. The position provides advanced one-on-one support and troubleshooting for faculty and staff technology. Perform basic computer break/fix in departmental computer labs across campus. This includes advanced hardware and software support on campus-licensed standard equipment, and coordination of any imaging process. This position serves as the main support for computer labs and learning spaces on campus, as well as backup for classroom support.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Entry-level with Masters;
Bachelors and 0-2 yrs experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledgeable in standard software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office) that are present on campus, in addition to specialized software and hardware, and ability to troubleshoot these packages. Ability to manage campus computer systems through use of the management system (SCCM and JAMF). Basic Apple/Mac troubleshooting skills. Several years' experience in computer technologies and their specifics as they relate to the modern higher education experience. Associate's degree and/or at least 2 years technical training in Information Technology or a related field; or 2 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of a variety of office and classroom technology equipment. Must have a strong technical background and also have the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a potentially non-technical audience.
