Position Overview:
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time Support and Technical Personnel position of Annual Giving Specialist. This position can be located at any WITC campus location, but preference will be given to applicants at the Superior Campus and Ashland Campus locations. The Annual Giving Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the scholarship program; student assistance programs; ongoing donor communication, cultivation and stewardship. As technical staff to the WITC Foundation, this position serves as a liaison with all constituents for the purpose of fundraising, development and community relations.

Qualifications:
1. Two years post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications or related field.
2. Must love data and details.
3. Articulate and poised; comfortable presenting to internal and external groups.
4. Proficient with Excel and Word.
5. Positive attitude; openness to new ideas and their implementation.
7. Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
9. Experience with nonprofit software (Blackbaud products or similar) preferred.
10. Ability to obtain drivers license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy.

Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate the scholarship program; provide detailed technical information regarding scholarship opportunities and problem-solve issues with students and instructors.
  • Ensure effective management of donor funds and administration that honors donor intent.
  • Promote awareness of the WITC Foundation and related programs.
  • Travel throughout the district as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of annual fundraising initiatives.
  • Maintain centralized database of Foundation constituents.
  • Promote donor engagement and awareness of the Foundation goals among all Foundation constituents.
  • Work with other departments throughout the College to exchange information as appropriate to better meet the needs of our internal and external customers.
