Short Description:
Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for full-time Athletic Training Intern positions to begin summer 2018. This is a 40-hour-per-week, one-year internship which is renewable for an additional year based on performance. Hourly rate $10.33 with limited benefits included.

FSU boasts 21 varsity sports (10 men/11 women) at the NCAA Division III level that compete in the Capital Athletic Conference and the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Our well-equipped facilities include a new training clinic with the latest therapeutic equipment, such as an underwater treadmill.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties:
Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer and under supervision of the Team Physician, oversee the medical care and rehabilitation of FSU student-athletes. Assist with administrative duties as assigned and provide supervision over Athletic Training room operations and services. Provide coverage for FSU camps directly affiliated with the Athletics Department as assigned. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and one year of related work experience. Current NATABOC certification. Maryland Athletic Training licensure or eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree and/or two years of related work experience.
