Applications are presently being accepted from qualified candidates to provide general clerical support on an as-needed, call staff basis at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Administrative Office in Shell Lake. Primary responsibility is to provide first rate customer service to Shell Lake visitors and meeting participants, which shall include but will not be limited to serving as receptionist, answering/routing calls on the main switchboard, coordinating arrangements for use of the Shell Lake conference center facilities, & providing hospitality services for groups and individuals using the center.

1. One year related post-secondary education/ training OR two years related work experience, OR a combination of related post-secondary education/ training and work experience totaling two years.
2. Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of computers, computer applications and software such as email, word processing and spreadsheet programs (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Ability to contribute to a team environment.
4. Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with students, staff and instructors.

Sitting, handling/fingering, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders (Occasionally);
Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less (Frequently), 11-20 lbs. (Occasionally);
Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less (Occasionally)
*Answer incoming calls, providing information, transferring calls or taking messages as necessary.
*Greet persons entering WITC, determine purpose of the visit, and direct them to their destination or notify staff member of visitor's arrival.
*Food service and/or hospitality setup; dishes, room setup and clean up
*Provide additional clerical functions for areas outside Conference Centers as directed.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
