Position Overview:
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Campus Support Assistant. The Campus Support Assistant at the Rice Lake Campus provides a full range of support service functions in all areas of the College with a focus on the Continuing Education Division. Responsibilities are comprehensive, diverse, and multifaceted, requiring broad knowledge of all related College policies and procedures. Working in a team environment, individuals provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders with minimal supervisory guidance. This position is part-time and will be scheduled 884 hours per fiscal year.

Qualifications:
1. Two years related post-secondary education/training OR four years related work experience, OR a combination of related post-secondary training/education and work experience totaling four years.
2. Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of a computer, computer applications and software such as email, word processing and spreadsheet programs required.
3. Ability to contribute to a team environment.
4. Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with students, staff and faculty.
5. Knowledge of current office practices and procedures and skill in their application.
6. Ability to be detail-oriented, well organized, to work independently on assigned tasks, and to work under pressure.

Physical Demands:
Standing, Walking (Frequently);
Sitting, handling/fingering, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders (Occasionally);
Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less (Frequently), 11-20 lbs. (Occasionally);
Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less (Occasionally)

Job Description:
Provide cross-functional customer service to internal and external customers.
*Assess customer needs and take appropriate action.
*Research and proactively assist customers in solving problems. Follow up until problem is resolved and/or refer to appropriate staff when necessary.
*Operate and troubleshoot office equipment.
*Inventory and order supplies.
*Process duplication requests.
*Open, prioritize, and route incoming mail.
*Organize, establish and maintain electronic databases and paper filing systems.
*Schedule and make arrangements for meetings and conferences.
*Assist in recruitment and selection process for new staff at the Rice Lake Campus.
*Reconcile credit card statements.

*Support the Administrative Specialist.
*Support the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
*Update the Safety Data Sheet System.
*Other related job duties as assigned.
