Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for part-time Certified Nursing Assistant Instructors. Teaching assignments will be on an as-needed basis and include both classroom and clinical hours. Opportunities are available in and around the WITC New Richmond Campus and WITC Superior Campus.

1. Bachelors degree in Nursing and 4,000 hours of occupational nursing experience (to include one year long-term care experience), OR Associate degree in Nursing and 7,000 hours of occupational nursing experience (to include one year long-term care experience).
2. Meets Wisconsins Department of Health Services (DHS) approval as a primary instructor of Certified Nursing Assistant.
Standing, Walking (Frequently);
Sitting, handling/fingering, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders (Occasionally);
Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less (Frequently), 11-20 lbs. (Occasionally);
Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less (Occasionally)
An instructor's primary purpose is to foster learner success, assess learner achievement, and continually improve learning opportunities. Instructors also contribute to the college's operational effectiveness by forming partnerships with learners, co-workers, and business and industry stakeholders.
*Facilitates learning for all students

*Embeds diversity in classroom activities
*Incorporates appropriate teaching methods and technologies in the learning process
*Assesses learners in a variety of ways
*Uses a variety of assessment methods and tools including but not limited to performance assessments, skills checklists, writing assignments, tests, quizzes, group work, partner activities, short- and long-term projects, and employment portfolios
*Documents assessment of learner achievement, core abilities, course competencies, and program outcomes
*Partners with learners
*Helps learners define and achieve their academic and career goals
*Manages learning environments in a manner consistent with college policies and procedures
*Records and submits grades
*Communicates using e-mail and voice mail
*Other duties as assigned
