Short Description:
Frostburg State University, Brady Health Center, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to work in a high-traffic clinic specializing in diagnosis and treatment of health problems common to college students. This is an exciting opportunity to join experienced professionals in an AAAHC-accredited college health setting providing for and managing the health care needs of a young adult patient population. Description of Ongoing/New Duties:
Provide direct nursing care to FSU students including routine outpatient/ambulatory and urgent care services as well as some womens healthcare. Specific duties include performing triage assessments (phone and in-clinic); providing indicated nursing interventions; administration of medications, allergy injections, and immunizations; and other duties as assigned. Also participate in Quality Assurance program and provide outreach health promotion to the campus community. Must be open and sensitive to a diverse student population.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligibility. Current BLS certification. At least three years of relevant RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nursing or closely related field. Familiarity with electronic medical records. Phlebotomy skills. Knowledge of adolescent and young adult growth and development. College health, emergency room, or community health experience a plus.
